2-Ethoxybenzoic acid is a benzoic acid derivative. Used mainly as pharmaceutical intermediate, for producing Sildenafil intermediate 2-ethoxybenzoyl chloride etc.It is used as an organic building block in synthetic organic reactions. It has been used in dental cements.
